Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an Account Manager to manage the relationships with our retained clients. This will be a consultative job; you will be offering eCommerce advice on behalf of SuperCo and guiding clients towards ecommerce best practices.
You will need to:
- Deliver value to your clients by providing strategic and tactical advice to help them grow their businesses
- Build strong relationships with different stakeholders across accounts
- Work to grow accounts through upselling retained hours and other services
- Report successes monthly to clients and demonstrating a clear ROI
- Provide quarterly business and industry reviews with clients
You will join a small, dynamic team and will work closely with the two founders, Head of Accounts and broader project team. You need an analytical brain, a great understanding of eCommerce and an outgoing and friendly personality.
About you:
- You have 4+ years of experience in eCommerce account management - ideally with Shopify. This could be in agency or managing a large eCommerce store
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (one of our core values is that it’s impossible to over communicate) - you will be working with our fully remote team to manage client accounts
- A collaborative mindset, able to work self-directed as part of a small team
- Independent and critical/analytical thinker with a creative approach to solving problems
- Tenacious and thorough in ensuring client satisfaction
- Love of entrepreneurship
Desirable skills or willingness to learn:
- Adobe Creative Suite / Figma
- Account management methodologies
- Business analysis frameworks
What you will work on:
- Manage a team of software developers
- Turn project briefs into deliverables that clients love
- Providing eCommerce strategy to larger clients
- Provide feedback to management on all platforms used to ensure the roadmap is built out according to client & developer needs
